In a barren piece of hopeless soul,
You brought breeze from a heavenly bliss.
Bewildered, I stood agape,
You took my hand and bent to kiss.
You brought me gift from a Merry land,
A tiny sap of blooming rose.
I stood agape with an amazed glare,
Why you amongst all the gifts, had the li'l sap chose.
You read my eyes, inquisitive,
And held my face to sink in them.
I knew I had my answers in your breath,
Yet stood still, willing you to tell.
Your lips moved to enlighten me,
About the enchanting plant of rose,
Which grew from the drops of your love
And bloomed to all the love you owned.
It will hold me when you are away.
Soothe me with your benevolent love,
Remind me at the time I weep,
Your love is there, even if you are not.
I'll save the roses of love with life
In my barren heart of all appal.
Preserve them, nourish them to rise and grow
And bloom, even when it's time to fall.
Part 1- We fall in love with the one, who, we think, deserves to be loved by us. We set a benchmark.
