My Craft

For me, writing is an art. Instead of using brushes to paint, I used a pen to give colors to the words to describe Love, Melancholy, and Life.

In writing, it must be relatable to my fellow students and my age. I came up with the idea of poetry about admiration, it is suitable for everyone, It is colorful. Of course, I needed some inspiration on this.

I asked my friends about their crushes, and how it feels like to be with them. The ideas, the feelings are there but it is not enough for me to write the poem. I need an impact. I want my readers to feel the sincerity of admiring someone, the joy it brings. I want more. Something pops out in my mind.

I will write for someone. That someone who brings me butterfly to stomach every time I see her, all for her. That is the time where the idea flows continuously in my head, just like a river. All the words are true.

The sincerity, happiness. My heart is bursting with ideas while I write on the paper until the poem is done. Like a snapped of a finger my piece was written.

I was so happy that day, but I wish I can thank my inspiration of writing the poem.
