Never Ending 1

The conversation that followed was as bland as the food served. Anamika broke the ice. "Why Abhi, why after all these years?" Abhimanyu found himself out of his element and his heart melted at the familiar call if his name. Anamika said with a heavy heart, "I'm not the same, I'm not what I used to be, I have nothing to give anymore! I trusted you. I'm not sure I can ever trust you again!"

This stirred Abhimanyu, "I did not come here win you back, I came here to show how genuinely ashamed I am. I have not regretted anything more than breaking you and leaving you stranded. I came here to say I'm sorry Anu. I love you."

Abhi and Anu were inseparable. Thanks to their dads who were not only best friends but business partners. They went to school, college and even interned at his father's newspaper together. They never realised how madly in love they were with each other, they just reveled in this fact. Until that unfateful day....

The forbidden incident occurred and in deep despair, Anu was hoping Abhi would stand by her. He stood by his father instead - the same guy who made a sexual pass at her.

Heart shattered, Anu became the Anamika that she is today. Her innocence snatched away from her, her trust broken, her heart torn apart into a million pieces.

Abhimanyu was torn between his love and his family - it was not his choice, it was his obligation to stand by his father. Anamika, as an investigative reporter later, blew his father's cover. This shattered his empire into pieces.

Abhimanyu was furious at her for this but that was when he confronted his father and figured out the truth! He apologised to Anamika, a million times. She just shut him away time and again. Now it's time to begin a new chapter all over again. Nothing else mattered anymore, he had to avenge her but was defeated by love!

Abhimanyu was hopeful. He was ready to start over new but Anamika was not! The hurt still haunted her. Since the day she saw Abhimanyu, she knew she had to destroy him!

Abhimanyu snatched Anamika's hands. He looked deep into her eyes and said, "Please give me another chance!" Anger and disgust filled her kohl-studded eyes. She peeled them off of his guilt-ridden eyes. He sat there sinking into the ground below him, staring at her as she walked away...
