I meet him at the hallway
in our school. With her,
he looks at me.
His eyebrows rise and fall.
His black eyes point
at me.
I stop. He almost
but she doesn’t, instead she says,
“Hurry.”
She holds his arms,
pulls him as he takes
one step forward.
He still looks
at me. His eyes
smile.
Until he closes
our distance, and I feel
his shoulder brushes mine.
I turn around
to see, if he will
hold her hands again.
