Info

What do I say
When someone asks how I am
Do I say I'm fine, like life's peaches and rainbows
Should I tell them I'm drowning
Maybe just look at their eyes
I don't have a story to tell
All the words I wanted to say were spoken
The tears to bring the old me back were shed
When people left, parts of me became dead
Where do I even begin
Maybe with the smiles that captured me so well
I guess I was a sponge for their lies
No one really wants to hear they ain't winning
While the birds that call to them now are crows
How do you ask for help when doors just slam
As you blindly grasp for a way.
