I stopped praying for you.
No. I don't mean you're not in my prayers,
That I erased your name from my rhymes.
I still whisper to God about you.
Still include you in my daily report,
Albeit in a different line.
I ask Him to always care for you.
Give you strength, help you survive
And that you may live a long happy life.
I plead Him to let you see someone who,
Without a doubt, would risk all for you.
Something I'm not capable to do.
I guess it's just time to move your name.
With all those that I once loved
But had to let go, all the same.
I now accept that there's no me and you.
So yes, you are still in my prayers
But I already stopped praying for you.
