What a terrible time of the year,
Full of dread and fear.
My mind goes - 'What the hell is this!'
Out of nowhere, spread a deadly disease.
Day by day, the months roll,
With a constant rise in the death toll.
From the stock market crisis,
To increase in essential goods prices.
Quarantine at home feels like a jail,
Unfortunately, for this one - there is no bail.
For now, prevention is the only cure,
Keep washing hands for sure.
Some deserve a heartfelt 'Thank You',
Doctors and frontline workers - to name a few.
Recipe of a home-made love story is about how love flourished decades ago. Dedicated to my parents!!
10This one is really close to my heart. I tried narration in form of couplets. Enjoy Reading!!!
