Salmon Ride

For one who is willing
enough to try,
is one for another
a bid of goodbye
yet to see the light
at the end of the road
is a hopeful tragedy
and without freedom of abode.
There are no assurance
of success and triumph
rather an instance of failure
written by destiny as draft.

If the destination
is not as beautiful as what we
had hoped for
to see, to feel and to remember
But if the journey was,
well, is it not enough
to be thankful, be grateful
like the parishioners of gods.
To look at the salmon
drifting against the waves
is to look at the strong;
with dreams and courage.

One does not have to know
the secrets of life
to move forward
and thrive.
A dream is a picture
of a possible future
and with a strong mind
it can turn into diamonds of mines.
And until then I began dreaming
by pulling the string,
heavens would describe me as
The lone wolf of the past.

A willing victim
can not cry for justice
for the awareness of the pain
is the acceptance of caprice.
To doubt one's self
is betrayal up front
but to digress
is to maintain fraud.
Hard work betrays no one
but a lot are fooled by dreams.
To dream is to believe
and to be willing to believe
is to die.

All of it, all of them
all speak the same thing.
And so until then
I thought I had it.
