Season

I wanna know how it felt when I had nothing to fear,
Like how spring finished winter unafraid. 
boasted of its warmth and comfort,
shaming the nostalgic and dreamy cold. 

Fear has never come at that time. 
It was a stranger I defeated. 
It was a door I didn't knock. 
And was a poison I was aware of. 

Now it came too familiar,
Too familiar that I got closer. 
The distance was too near that I almost choke.
But ironically, still gripping to it. 

I know the way up there is thorns and roses. 
But the world withers, 
My soul is stuck in a season of uncertainty. 
Where will I be then, when everything blooms and changes?
