"Depression ain't a big of a deal," they said with a laugh on the side.
First time she wishes for her ears to unhear.
Such full of unsympathetic words coming from their mouths.
How she longs for someone who can finally understand.
The fact that depression isn't nonlethal.
"How can they understand?" She asks her poor self.
Maybe when they, at last, experience it.
Or maybe when someone beside them show what it really is.
"Then," she whispers to herself.
"Shall I show them what it does?"
Thus, without a bit of hesitation, the girl puts her feet on top of the world,
Where she can see but cannot be seen.
"How beautiful, the world," she says.
"If only it has not been tainted by the evilness of humans," she shows her last smile.
A smile so real no one had ever seen.
"Farewell."
So, what does depression do?
It makes a person choose a path where she won't need to walk anymore.
A path that would only bring her happiness, she must have thought.
Because continuing another day was more torturous than ceasing her breathing.
That was the only solution her depressed mind had come up.
Because, after all, no one saw what was behind her 'smile'
No one asked and no one believed.
So she had to prove it all,
How silent yet lethal depression is.
