Smitten

No one would have done the immense repair that has been done, no one would have taken the time to listen to my every cry. But HE did. And I’m smitten.

He heard my silent whimper and rushed to my aid. At night or by day, I knew I had someone to rush to my aid. My broken heart he sat and mended, with love so much I cannot explain. He’s made me fall deeply in love with all that HE is.

I do have friends, oh, yes I do! Good friends, great and a few fake ones too. They all love me but I know that love might fade someday. I did find one faithful friend a friend in Jesus and his love will never fade.

HE showed me the way and gave me life again, showed me the truth and told me not to worry again. He’s my refuge and I will not shy cause my God told me not to fear because he’s by my side.

I’m smitten, I must say.

Jesus has showed me love that cannot be explained!

For What a  friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and grieves to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
