‘Tears’, this is what people call me.
My identity…..Sadness. For everyone,
I’m an expression of the sad emotions. But is that really so?
Do people have me in their eyes, only when they’re sad?
Not really.
Don’t you feel me in your eyes or on your cheeks,
When you are happy?!
When you achieve something that you desired for
After a long time, after a big struggle,
Don’t you have ‘happy tears’!
In the moments of extreme joy, I’m often,
A PART OF YOUR HAPPINESS!
When you feel extremely nostalgic,
When you recollect your happy memories, or
When you encounter with long-lost friends, long-left forgotten hometowns,
Don’t you have ‘happy tears!’
Then why do you all relate me only to sadness?
Why can’t you all think and believe that
I can be a part of happiness too!!?
Relatable to those who feel the change in themselves with changing times and to the introverts......
