The darkness

Loneliness.
Something everyone is terrified of.
Something everyone wants to stay away from.
But unfortunately, something everyone has to face and get used to.

Loneliness is being surrounded by many faces, but not one face you can talk to.

Loneliness is being surrounded by echoing laughter, constant chattering, but not being a part of it.

Loneliness is wanting to talk, but drowning your words within yourself because no one seems to understand.

Loneliness is wanting to scream for help but silencing yourself because no one will hear.

Loneliness is wanting to cry, but having no one to comfort you.

Loneliness is that heart wrenching, mind throbbing disease you want to find cure for, but you can't.

Loneliness is giving up, and hoping that someone will guide you away from this darkness.
