Once there was a girl pure and innocent, like a snow fresh from the first day of winter; sweet and childlike like a daughter to her mom. She was so innocent she thought everything and everyone in this world is good, that nothing can ever taint her. Kindhearted as she was, she would visit her old neighbor suffering from a disease when an unexpected day happened, when she didn't expect a disgusting response to her kindness.
This old man touched her and invaded her privacy. She was lost in that moment for she felt weird when she realized it's not something good. She stepped out of the hut and went home telling her parents what happened.
She was tainted at an early age, not even knowing she was. That made her less than innocent. One day when she grew up, she thought that she was lesser than others for for her, she was less innocent than them. She felt unworthy for she was unconciously tainted. She grew up in a mannerless home which only made her worse.
But after all those taints she had, she was still the same kindhearted and childlike girl who would take good care of her younger sister from dirty colors that could possibly taint her. Having a lowered self esteem, she thought the best she could do is remain tainted yet not allow this taint to taint others. She thought she couldn't redeem herself from such shame she didn't even deserve. She gave an identity to people, identity far from pleasing.
One day, a light shed to her. She was enlightened and realized she could redeem herself somehow. She thought she could untaint herself, but she was wrong at this moment. She wants to change her identity but the people around here caged here, limited her to the identity she once had. She longed for a room to grow, a room for change. She really thought she couldn't unlock such door when she realized," Why wait for such room to come when I can make one." From that time on, she bravely stood for herself. She defied expectations and judgments. She proved them wrong. And right now, she's still standing strong, like a tree which had grown from a wasteland; fully grown and with buds of flowers to crown her.
She realized that it was not relationships that haunt her but her younger self.
00All flowers are equally beautiful, equally fragrant, and equally precious to our gardener.
