When you look at me, can you say
that I'm thinking about death?
The way my eyes flicker,
when my body is at threat.
With red eyes and bloody palm,
don't trust myself not to harm.
When you look at me, can you say
that I'm lost, my soul has fled?
Even if I tune out the noises,
who'll mute it inside my head?
The way my hair raise,
when my mind is in a daze.
When you look at me, can you say
that I'm counting down the time?
That I've lost everything,
only this body is left that's mine.
And if I can't even mend it,
and needles I can sew and knit
When you look at me, can you say
that my time is now over?
Will you be there to bid me farewell,
when my body they will lower?
We create our own suffocation, and we can't escape it until we accept it.
42Why don't we love ourselves just as much as we used to? What happens to us as we grow up?
