A MINDFUL OF QUESTIONS

The last day at my school,

The last of my exam,

With my stomach twitching and a mixture of emotions rushing through my veins,

A hurricane of memories struck inside my head

Yet the anxiety of the paper, and what’s next to come!

So many weird thoughts had taken over me,

Losing some friends but taking a step towards bonding the new ones,

I know nothing will be the same,

Yet the traces can always be found whenever looked at it with an insightful eye.

The beautiful scar, no art it can be compared to,

With the perfect amalgamation of-

Happiness and hurt, the trust fall and the backstab wounds,

The moments tearing apart yet some amazing people always standing and holding you together.

Never knew,

Just one phase of my life could be such an amazing ride,

Makes me wonder about the treasures I have yet to unveil.

May b that’s why

Even though while leaving this glorious mess of my life sinks my heart

The strange tinginess of embracing something no one can foresee

Excites me to take on this new adventure.

All of my wonderings and questionings makes my eyes blur with water

Because of the incapability of screaming out with all my might and heart

“I love u!! And thank you!! School life”

In the brevity of this time

You gave me something so timeless

So simply beautiful yet so complex to describe.

Now, I have to take up a new road,

And the challenge is with such a mindful of questions…..

What’s this journey is gonna be like……..??
