For a girl I know...

This is for a girl i know

unique as her name, she is

The story of this endless bond

Starts way back then

In the mellow of a small town

Full of innocence and silliness in our heads

We met in a school bus

You and me both with a funny haircut

In that evergreen uniforms

Making up horror stories and adventures to do

But we had a short time

Who knew??

Goodbye was just a small cloud

And sunshine will outburst again

In the sky like ever-blue

Years passed,

Clueless of each other’s existence

Our lives kept going

But destiny had other plans..

Like someone once said…

“If u love someone let them go, if they are meant to stay they’ll come back”

But even that ‘someone’ must not be knowing

That friendship was our definition of love

And look where we met again ‘school bus ’

This time you and me both with a different haircut and uniform changed

But that part of our friendship remained

All the memories rushed back with the eagerness to create something new

We created a different world and together we grew

The night outs, the fun, and the shooting star we saw together

I’ll always treasure these moments

Even though at present we are far apart

Just have faith in destiny

Who knows?

We both might meet again.. perhaps in a ‘bus’
