Chess of Dreams

When the clock strikes midnight and the world slowly drifts off to sleep, my soul and body are torn into two.

For its time now for the resumption of the war waging since 5 years..."The Chess....Of Dreams".  

Player "Mind" forms his battalion with King "Doctor" and Queen "Responsibility" and flanked by Bishops "Money" , Knights "Prestige" and Rooks "Security". And all the soldiers bear one word each from the line, "Don't Repeat The Mistakes From Your Father's Life".

Player "Heart" forms the ranks with King "Author" and Queen "Passion" followed by Bishops "Desire", Knights "Diligence" and Rooks "Risk" and here the squadron of soldiers bear words from, "Please Let Me Listen To My True Calling".

Who is gonna win when the war ends in 2 years? 

I don't know, for my soul will already be dead.

Because when you can't solve the puzzle of your desires, it means your life is a labyrinth which cannot be solved for the key is your soul but.... 

 The soul dies for what's the point waking up everyday to fulfill dreams that you don't even know are your own or not. Why live when all you are expected  to do is give them a second chance to live their dreams through you? Why live if even though they say you're free but you're bound with chains of their dreams and yours seem impractical to them? When your dream seems childish and all they say is what they are doing is for your benefit? But how can you not give them what they ask because it's them who have sacrificed everything for you? How can you resolve this conflict? You can't and then...

You are lost in the world. Existing yet forgotten. Alive yet Dead. And on a path that leads you nowhere for your heart went one direction and your mind went another but without the two together you are a nobody and a nothing but all the while you try not to give up entirely for maybe...just maybe, one day your heart and mind can be one again.
