Facing You Again

It is inevitable that I will meet you again, a cruel fate the universe imposes upon us.

However, I shall not collapse, shatter, or so much as stutter when I see you. For I cannot show anymore of myself to you. I opened myself up and put my walls down only to be stabbed through. I can't show how much I'm hurting, how much I cried, and how much I lost. 

When I see you, I hope you don't recognize me anymore, because I don't want anyone to see how weak I was with you. I hope you don't see me anymore and see someone else, because now we are strangers once more.

I wish you luck on your journey as we keep on our now separate paths. Hopefully we never cross paths again, may you find your own way as I will find mine.
