Writer's Note: Welcome back. Forgive me for taking so long, I've been running out of ideas recently and my schedule has been pretty hectic. If ever you're still here I thank you. I now know that I can't cope up with the whole "1 post per day" for February because life doesn't permit me to. I will still continue making this story, and it will still take place in a whole month, but I won't be able to finish it in time by the end of February.
I hope you understand, and I'll always be grateful to you for taking some time to read the literary attempts of an aspiring writer. :)

Fridays are pretty great.
It’s the last day of the week and after 5 exhausting days of work and school, most of us would just want to rest and grab a bite to eat or maybe hang out with our friends.
On any other weekend that would be the case for me as well, but I couldn’t stop thinking about how I would give back the handkerchief of a mysterious girl that I hid from in a secret garden that for some strange reason she also knows about.
Should I even give it back to her? How would she react when she finds out that I saw her that day? I don’t even know her name yet.
Tomorrow’s the last day. One week was all I had, I was still two airplanes short, and never have I ever wanted for anything to happen so much in the span of one week. I was getting so worked up and desperate over something so trivial. My inner realist was starting to act up and a part of me was screaming to just man up and talk to her; to forget everything about searching for signs and leaving everything to fate.
But a larger part of me wanted to have something to believe in once again, whether it be fate or luck or chance or anything else entirely. The desire to want to believe in something was louder than the voice of reason and doubt. I wasn’t going to give up on the universe today.
I went to school as scheduled and couldn’t stop myself from looking at the sky. Some of my friends eventually noticed my constant upward head jerking and kept asking me what was going on. Of course, I couldn’t tell them about it and told them it was nothing.
My Fridays were pretty busy since I had classes from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM and the only break I had was scheduled at lunch which was 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Unfortunately, my classmates for the first half of my day were pretty early which was strange since most of them were the kind to purposely get late which meant that I wasn’t able to grab a seat near the window to at least get a higher chance of spotting the last two signs I needed. To top it all off, the sky was streaked with a dark hue of gray signaling the approach of unexpected rain and by lunch break, it had already started pouring.
It rained the whole afternoon, so I could do nothing but wait it out, hoping that maybe there was still a chance to spot airplanes.
The bell rang at exactly 4:00 PM, which meant that the last class for my day was over, unfortunately, the outpour of rain still wasn’t.
I went straight home without bothering to look for any more signs
and slept the night away.
