In my dream

I am here, now, in the midst of my dream,
Thinking that i'm the star in this wildest dream,
Hoping not to wake up and face the reality,
Because waking up is the start of my endless anxiety.

In my dream i'm such a princess with such a wonderful castle,
I also have a smart mind that can solve any kind of puzzle and riddle,
I also have a prince charming that will be there for me from time to time,
And i can also manipulate the situation anytime.

I feel so happy, here, inside my dream,
I can't stop smiling, like a child, that was given an ice cream,
Although i know that all of these things are just false hopes,
But, i just can't stop holding to my own ropes.

Honestly, i'm really scared on facing the reality,
Because i'm the kind of person who loves tranquility,
I just can't invest my feelings to the changes of this world,
I wish i can freely do what i want, without worries, like a bird.

Confusing people and their confusing thoughts,
Confusing things and the confusion that they brought,
Every hour, every minute, every second something will always change,
I just can't fit in here, I think i'm a bird, but sadly, now i'm on a cage.
