Scene 5

Fiesta

Luna: Ate Maria Hurry up, we are going to miss the fiesta!

Bonifacio: Don’t be Impatient Luna.

Rizal: Its because, she wants to dance with Pedro kuya.

Luna: What! That is not true!

Maria: Ay nako! Im done, lets go.

At the fiesta proper: (camera pans again in the fiesta)

Luna: Ate Maria, Emilio asked me to dance soooo….

Maria: hm..

Luna: I’ll take that as a yes.

Maria: Luna!

Luna: I love you ate!!!! (says as she moves away)

Maria: (sighs)

Suddenly a guy goes to her (spain). *bgm: Enchanted – T.S*

Spain: Good evening senorita. I am Spain. C-can we dance?

Maria: w-what..??

Rizal:(pushes Maria) Yes, she says yes kuya!

Maria: (gets shocked) Rizal! (angrily)

Spain dances with Maria. And welp the cheesy part happens here- ps. Bahala na ang directors sa gagawin ditto basta sassayaw sila.

Maria smiles awkwardly and refuses to look up to him.

Spain: You are Maria. Am I right?

Maria: uhh.. yes.

Spain: (chuckles/ smiles) I am from another place, far away. I have come to explore, for I thirst for knowledge.

Maria: You seek wisdom then.

Spain: Yes, but it seems I have found something else. Something better than knowledge.

Maria: What will be better than knowledge? (asks curiously with a slight scoff)

Spain: (twirls Maria and dips her [ballroom term]) You.

(eww that was so cheesy)

Maria: (gets shocked and blushes; she awkwardly stands up and bade goodbye) I-uhh…. Have to go, its getting late.

Spain: The night is still young.

Maria: Sorry but I have my siblings to take care of. So goodbye. (rushes out hurriedly)

Maria: Luna!! Rizal! Bonifacio!!! (Looks for them amongst the crowd)

Bonifacio: Its still early ate!

Maria: Its better than going home late.

Rizal: But ate.

Maria: Shush this is your fault.

Rizal: What did I do?

Maria: Oh you know darn well what you did Rizal. Where is your little sister?

Bonifacio: Last time i saw her, she was with Emilio.

Rizal: There they are! (points at Luna who was dancing with Emilio)

The three rushes to where Luna is.

Maria: Luna, let’s go!

Luna: What?!? Its still early.

Maria: Better early than late.

Luna: That doesn’t apply right now.

Maria: I am the eldest and I say we go home, now.

Luna: Okay, fine. Sorry Emilio, I have to go now.

Emilio: Its alright. Have a safe trip back home. Good evening po ate.

Maria: Good evening too Emilio. I’m sorry I have to take Luna away.

Emilio: Its alright.

The siblings are starting their way home.

Scene 6:

Sweet moments of Spain and Maria - helping her in carrying the bayong, Spain teaching Maria new things. Specifically teaching her Christianity. Meh bahala kayong mag isip.

Ps. Botong boto ung lahat ng mga kapatid niya, except for Bonifacio who seems skeptical.

One of the moments:

Maria: Thank you Spain for helping me out. You employed Bonifacio into your business and accepted Rizal as a scholar to your university. Well, Luna, on the other hand. Well went off and joined the military. Unfortunately she isn’t allowed to go home until she finishes her training.

Spain: Oh it’s no problem Maria. I like helping you out. Besides I’ve become fond of your siblings.

Scene 7:

Maria said yes to Spain (naging sila). DAPAT MAGANDA ANG ILOG NA PAGSHOSHOOTAN OR ELSE THE WHOLE SCENE WILL BE SCRAPPED

Maria: Spain where are you taking me?

Spain: (hold Maria’s hand so she wont fall) Be patient Maria. (removes Maria’s blindfold).

Maria: (looks at Spain) The river, really? (sarcastic)

Spain: Well, we met here for the first time. (unpacks the food)

Maria: Ugh, you pervert! (slaps his arm)

Spain: (defending) I swear I didn’t see anything!

Maria: Liar! (huffs and crosses arms then turns to the other side)

Spain: Maria, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to last time. I swear.

Basta Masusuyo siya ditto and I don’t know how*

Scene 8:

However, he became more demanding.

Spain: Maria! Haven’t I told you before. Migbaya is not a god. He is a devil.

Maria:Spain, have I not explained to you, Migbaya Is a kind God who had been providing for us since I have been a child.

Spain: Maria.

Maria: Spain. Please. At least for the last time.

Spain: (thinks for a while) Fine. But for the last time.

Maria: Thank you.

The two goes to the huge rock and Maria goes to kneel down and worship. Spain stays at the back, 50 meters away, rolling his eyes and chuckling along with a face palm.
