Scene 1

setting: a dimly lit room – a bar for example

Fade in. features people inside the bar

Male MC : Good evening everyone! Welcome to Mama Joy’s [and Papa Dex..lol ] Restaurant! To celebrate our Grand Opening, were giving a free round of drinks for everyone. (Audience cheers and hoots)

Not only that, we’ll be holding our first ever spoken poetry contest! So then let us all welcome our first contestant! (audience cheers and hoots)

Female Contestant: uhh.. Good evening everyone. This piece is different from the usual and I hope you’d listen.

(Camera pans to audience swiftly and focus on the contestant *close up*)

Female Contestant: (clears voice) I Higaonon……….

Fade black- back to the past.

Scene 2

Camera pans through the fields, (insert bird music) and to an old house [Spanish house]. Men are busy tending the rice field and women are harvesting fruits or something ____________________________

(chirping birds and soft music)

To be interrupted by:

Rizal: Ateeeee Maria!!!!!!!! (shrill irritating kid-voice)

Bonifacio: Sumbungero!!!

Luna: Uuuggghhhh!!! Keep it down will you!!

(Rizal and Bonifacio are having a petty fight over a toy while Luna is getting pissed)

Rizal uses Luna as a shield between Bonifacio.

Luna: You two! Stop it!! (Grabs both of the guys by the ear). Oh are you still going to fight!

Rizal: Araayy!!!

Bonifacio: Ouch, Luu-naa!!

Luna still has a pissed look on her face. Maria enters with a bundle of clothes in her arms.

Maria: Luna, let your brothers go. You know how playful they are.

Luna: Hmpff. Yet they are older than me. (rolls eyes) Kababain.

Maria puts down the clothes on the chair and goes to the two boys while Luna stomps off to help Maria in folding the clothes.

Maria: Hay nako. (ruffles both the boys’ hair) Both of you should grow up. Especially you Bonifacio, you are the eldest. You should be the responsible one here. Don’t upset Rizal. (Bonifacio pouts and scratches his head). And you Rizal, mature up, don’t be a crybaby. Tsk, boys, you are older than Luna, yet she acts like she is your ate.

Bonifacio and Rizal: Yes ate Maria. (Luna smirks in the background)

Maria: Now both of you go and prepare our offering to Migbaya.

Bonifacio: Yes ate. (Both stands up to go)

Maria: And No fighting!!! (calls out to them)

Maria resumes to fold the clothes with Luna.

Maria: You know you shouldn’t be too rough with your older brothers.

Luna: Well they fight all the time, they’re too noisy and they always bother me.

Maria: Well they are still your brothers.

Luna: I know ate Maria.

Maria and Luna resumes to fold the clothes. Camera pans away from the scene (black out).

Scene 3

The four siblings are seen with an offering to a huge stone with writings and what not and bows down to it and worships it.

After praying.

Rizal: Will Migbaya bless us a bountiful harvest this year?

Maria: Oh he will.

The 4 siblings return home happily.

Scene 4.

Setting: River

*The 1st meeting should be bloody*

Maria took a bath at a nearby river. And a guy who seems to be lost found her. (and no, the person bathing doesn’t have to be naked :3)

Maria: (notices someone watching her so she screams and throws rocks at the dude.) Bastos! You pervert! (The guy then runs away after being hit by a barrage of rocks).

Luna: (Hears her sister’s screams) Ate Mariaaaa!!!!!!!! (runs towards her sister). What happened!?!?

(Meh lets move on to the Spain’s [th guy] P.O.V)

Spain: (Bleeding and wounded; breathes heavily as he rested against a tree) Oh, so its Maria. (should this be said in Spanish?).
