No escape

I should be excited to go back. To run up the cemented path, the green rusty gate and to the small little house of cream and red. I have nothing but dread. 

My sins run deep as the earth's core. She caught me in her arms wounding tight. Tighter it became, tighter to the point of suffocation. Her melodic voice of chiming Christmas bells whispered words. Dagger-ladden poisonous words that crawl into my skin. 

I ignored the person who loved me the most. Her messages laid unread. Missed about 9 calls and higher. Thinking back, it seems like i only beeped her up when i needed something. I need cash for this, i need this item for that. A total entitled prick. 

My greed consumed my soul. The Gold i have not earned, i yearned. What my left hand holds - a free ticket to the Hades' Court. My father is seated next to the judges. His eyes are stern, mouth drawn to straight line. I knew, even before any of them speak a word, the fields of Punishment awaits.
