Moth and Fire

She is strong,

          independent,

A woman who knows what she deserve

Have planned her life ahead long before

She's got more than a girl could ever wish for

Always in control,

              she never wavers

Always know what to say,

              never quivers

She's way too careful,

              she was always tough

Never lets her guards down,

              never falls into a bluff

She is fire,

            burning hot and bold

Fights for her rights,

            not just do what she's told

She is fire,

             crushes every obstacles she face

She is fire

             that burns all those sorrows with grace

She forgets all doubts,

             believes in herself

She has reached for her dreams

             without any man's help

She is beautiful,

            both inside and out

She is fire,

             truly without doubt

Then he came about,

             embraced the fire tight

A moth to a flame, so sure he got it right

He devoted his time,

              and tamed the red hot flame

Just to prove her he is worthy of the warmth he wants to claim

She was so used to being alone, 

              being the fire she long has been

But he made her feel like he was worthy

              so she let her feelings win

For the first time she believed,

               she trusted a man

She was finally convinced that two is better than one

All was good for a while,

            'til everything changed color

He suddenly felt unsure,

            can't bear the fire no more

Every smile faded,

            all those promises melted

He changed his mind,

                   his forever ended

She was fire,

Strong,

Indestructible

But now it's clear,

he was never a moth..

She was fire,

and he was her strongest storm..
