Dear God,
I know there are more or less 6 billion people in this planet and my presence will only mean a dot in general, but I know your love for me makes me feel like I'm the whole world. When I talk to you, I always pray for the favors of other people to which I wholeheartedly do but please allow me this time to center this prayer for myself.
This 2018, give me the comfort that I need to mend the gaps inside my heart, to patch the bruises of rejection and unhappiness, to fill up the emptiness caused by disappointments, and to cleanse the taint of pretending.
This 2018, give me an amount of understanding to overcome judgments from other people and also to let me know of my real worth as a person. Understanding to allow myself to be an open room for correction, that sometimes my ways are not right. That life is a butternut, sometimes it goes well like the smooth melt of the butter, and sometimes it goes nuts.
This 2018, give me the right people who would encourage me to become myself. People that would not only love the idea of me but would love me the way I love sunsets and random thoughts in my head. People who would stand up for me and not make me feel like I am a pawn in a chess game.
Most importantly, aside from the "give me's" I ask for forgiveness for the imperfection that is inborn of me and the choices that are not pleasing to your sight.
Lastly, Thank you that you exist. I will always have a string of hope to go on and breathe.
The rarest flower is the one that blooms in adversity. His quote for me.
