"Carry my umbrella please?"
"No."
"You'll fall sick. Please! Will you take it or not?"
"I will manage..."
" Fine. I won't talk then. If that bothers..."
"No. That doesn't..."
Phlegmatic as always. Now that I have actually started writing those moments which we both actually shared, it feels strange, because these moments never left us. But like every other story, my story also has some good moments at a later part of it.
So, I happened to be a Medical aspirant. Like most of the average students, I failed to clear the entrance. I joined Engineering instead. Yup. Typical Indian mentality. But the truth is, I never dreamt of Engineering. Still in order to console, astrologers suggested to go for Engineering! Sounds ridiculous right? Yes, indeed. We, humans, generally try to gather points to defend our backup plan just to hide our defeat. Not qualifying for Medicals was my defeat, but I was never supported by the idea of dropping a year to reappear the test. Just in case I failed again, a year of my career would have got wasted. Eventually I learnt to move on, changing my tracks to a different goal. I am sorry if my interpretation is wrong, but what I personally felt that time, and even now that had I been backed with a mental boost to drop a year, I would have made it. Honestly speaking, I never took a risk in my Life. It was indeed full of safe games till the 2nd year of my Bachelor's degree.
