Again you find yourself in a familiar routine…
You begin to wonder once again how stupid could one person really be? How blind and deaf could you be?
Is it that hard to find acceptance in this dark and selfish world? Is it so damn hard to answer the question, “Are you alone?”
But you never stop to think that the real question they should ask you is “Why are you alone?”
Do you even know the answer? Or are you afraid of the truth, your own truth that you constantly shrug it off with a fake smile and lie through your own teeth.
It constantly feels like you're drowning in your own apathy. As if you're punishing yourself for being so wrong in this world.
You envy the selflessness of others. The ease they find in their own truths when you can’t even find peace in the life you lead now.
You wear the same damn mask everyday that sometimes you forget that it’s not real. None of it is.
But what exactly is real?
What exactly is the correct perception of reality?
Then you realize you will never know…
Too long you have been living a lie.
Too long you have been constantly pretending that you’ve lost yourself in your own personal endless cycle of deception.
Then you realize that there is no escape.
You dug a hole so deep that you never stopped to consider how exactly will you dig your way out of it.
You laugh whether in amusement or just for the heck of it well you’ll never know.
How does one escape one’s personal hell?
It’s just too bad that you’ve grown accustomed to it that you’ll never know the answer.
You’ve trapped yourself.
