We always said we'd write a poem together, line by line. But it has grown to writing a life together
My first love popped back up into my life, and I felt a happiness I hadn't felt in years.
I was once in love with a boy who was more mule than man, he had more cowardice than freckles.
Maybe one day he won't be the shadow on my soul. Maybe one day I won't feel like I am still waiting.
